There is a move afoot to move the United Nations from its NYC location to a re-birthed Babylon in Iraq. Babylon is mentioned in the Word of God over 300 times. It’s ultimate and future destruction is foretold in Revelation 17. Israel had to be in place for this to occur. That happened on May 14, 1948. Saddam Hussein before he died put 2 billion dollars into restoring Babylon. Curiously, the United States gave about $700 million to the restoration project which is on-going as you read this. Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Revelation all speak to a future Babylon.

Hello to everyone who happens to stumble into the blog. 2012 will continue to be a prophecy fulfilling year right before your eyes. So many of God’s prophet’s prophesies were fulfilled in our lifetime. The most amazing one is Israel. Absent for over 1900 years, God was true to his people despite opposition for this happening world-wide. Ponder, if you will, how amazing this event was. No nation has ever emerged like this. The Islamic revolution continues and will become the world religion predicted in Revelation. The Islamic block surrounds the tiny nation of Israel just as the Bible said it would. The world economies are failing at an alarming rate. There are famines world-wide where as many as 70 million don’t have adequate food. There is a shortage of clean water world-wide where people don’t have clean water to drink. If you simply open your eyes and ears, you will see that the words of Jesus Christ in Matthew 24 are not simply words on a page. They are living words that are being acted out on the stage of life.

How Do You Know There Is a God?
As you counsel people in the ministry, one of the first questions you encounter is "How do you know there is a God?" I usually, but not always, ask them to consider all the things that they encounter daily that they can’t see, but nevertheless know are there.
There response opens the door for me to expound on their doubt. There are a number of great examples of things we can’t see that we know are there. There is an order and intelligent design in nature, radio waves, oxygen, carbon monoxide and other gases, DNA, gravity, and other certainties are all there, but you can’t see them with the naked eye. "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." (Ephesians 6:12)
Evil is an example. It can’t be seen, but we know it is there and have to deal with it in subjective ways everyday. God on the other hand, is very visible. The earth in all its splendor, the stars, sun, the moon, and our own very being in all of its complexity speaks to an order that had an origin and creator
God even puts a knowledge of Him in each of us. Paul puts it this way so eloquently in Romans 1:18-21, "For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened."
I would venture to say that failing to give thanks and to glorify Him for all His creation is a problem not only for sinners but those who are born again as well. I encounter people often who say they are Christian, but are walking in a sort of spiritual numbness, which in effect makes them appear no different than the unredeemed man on the street.
You can say that it takes faith to acknowledge the unseen. I agree. You exhibit faith when you sit in a chair, ride or drive a car, go into an elevator, or fly on a plane. Romans 12:3 states, "For I say, through the grace given to me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God has dealt to every man the measure of faith.".
To sum it up, we should all be like David, who express this in Psalms 145 1-13, "I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name forever and ever. Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name forever and ever. Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.
And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness. They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness. The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee. They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power; To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom. Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.

Galatians 5 Keeps You on the Right Side of the Fruit of the Spirit!
Galatians 5 contains one of the most complete descriptions of the psychological profiles of the human condition. For a Christian, we should not be practicing any of these on a regular basis. To do so would give the wrong impression and make the Christian look no different than those around them.
When Jesus Christ walked into a room, people took notice. Why? He is described in the flesh as having no comeliness. That means He didn’t physically look any different than those around Him. I would suggest that the love of God shined out so strong that it provided needed light in a spiritually dark or dead society that they desperately needed.
If the world, which is so very spiritually dark, is ever going to see the light, it is you and I that are going to have to provide it. I have a suggestion. Make a card (index size), and on one side type of write down the following works of the flesh:
Galatians 5:19-21, Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are:
adultery
fornication
uncleanness
lewdness
idolatry
sorcery
hatred
contentions
jealousies
outburst of wrath
selfish ambitions
dissensions
heresies
envy
murders
drunkenness
revelries
and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
The above is the side of the card that you want to avoid, and certainly not practice. Paul’s list is just about as complete as any you will ever find.
Now on the other side of the card, type or write the follow fruits of the Spirit:
Galatians 5:22-23, But the fruit of the Spirit is
love
joy
peace
longsuffering
kindness
goodness
faithfulness
gentleness
self control
Against such there is no law. Those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
It is a much shorter list and the side that we want to practice on a regular basis. This side of the card will keep you out of trouble with the authorities; and especially with the ultimate authority, Jehovah God.
Now laminate the card and slip into a back or coat pocket, purse, or where ever you can easily find it. We want to stay on the short side of the card. Our world is fast becoming very good a practicing evil. The dark side is spreading across the globe.
Jesus said in His great I AM statements in John 8:12, "Then spoke Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." I can say without hesitation, if you will stay on the short side of your newly created card you will be walking in the light.

Is Jesus in Your House?
Do you support the statement that churches will have no attendance problem if it is “noised that Christ is in their house.” How is Christ’s presence evidenced in your church?
Wholeheartedly I agree that if Jesus is not in the house, go somewhere HE is. This one issue is the biggest issue with the throes of the devil in Inclusion Theology and Replacement Theology. The first thing they did was what the United States did; kick God and Jesus Christ out. You can’t mix oil and water; likewise, you can’t mix Christianity with any other attempt to reach God. The holy God and His Son, Jesus Christ forever made that impossible (Mark 1:9-13 and John 14:6).
Jesus was in the house between 1734-1750 when Jonathan Edwards and George Whitefield led a spiritual awakening in Connecticut. These envisioned an alive church with Jesus in the house; and one which might yield the workings and evidence of saving grace. Joseph Tracey, himself a minister and historian, wrote about this spiritual awakening in his influential 1842 book "The Great Awakening". [1] Tracey gives credit to the spiritual awakening as being a part of the precursor to the start of the American Revolution.
Jesus was in the house between 1800-1830 when Charles Finney was a key leader of the evangelical revival movement in America. Finney and many others led a wave of Jesus Christ believer’s across the United States from east to west. Finney and his son, also went to Scotland and Europe. In this second spiritual awakening, with the fire of the Holy Spirit producing a more active role of Christians of Jesus Christ in social change; including abolitionism and the Holy Movement.
Jesus was proclaimed in the house in this Great Awakening (often called the 3rd) was the greatest to date in its extent, effects and lasting impact.
It began slowly in Canada, when 21 were saved, and grew steadily until between 25 and forty were converted each day. Slowly reports of small awakenings began to emerge from various states in America. Then, in September 1857 Jeremiah Lanphier, a businessman and convert of Finney’s (a decade before), began a noon day prayer meeting on Wednesdays in a New York church. The small but growing numbers decided to meet daily in early October. Within six months over 10,000 business men were meeting in similar meetings across America; confessing sins, being converted and praying for revival. It was a lay-led movement that harvested a million souls in two years.
In 1858, from February to June, around 50,000 people a week were added to the church – in a nation whose population was only 30,000,000. Across the Atlantic another million were won to Christ by 1865. This was in Britain’s population of 27,000,000. Ulster saw 100,000 converted, Scotland 30,000, Wales 100,000 and England 500,000. Evangelistic, missionary and philanthropic enterprises blossomed on every hand. Moody and Sankey enjoyed their greatest success. The revival also swept around the world. Rapid growth was reported in continental Europe, western Russia, Australia, The South Seas, South Africa and India.
Jesus was noised in the house during this period, 1880 to 1903, a period of unusual evangelistic effort and success, as most its documentation surrounds the ministry of Dwight L. Moody, together with a host of other ministries that were also born out of the 1857 revival.
The rise of the Pentecostal Movement has become a phenomenon of our times. The Pentecostal and Charismatic church now numbers in excess of 550 million adherents across the world and since the second half of the twentieth century it has experienced exponential growth. It is no exaggeration to say that this movement has witnessed the greatest number of conversions and church plants in the entire history of the worldwide church! Such growth has caused the twentieth century to be described as the “Pentecostal Century” or the “Century of the Spirit.” Individual examples of this are omitted due to both time and space. Suffice it to say that Jesus was noised in the during this period.

Barnabas, the son of consolation and exhortation!
We met Joseph in Acts 4:36, being faithful: “And Joseph, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas (which is, being interpreted, Son of exhortation), a Levite, a man of Cyprus by race, having a field, sold it, and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet.”
So, he was one of the first to sell his possessions and give the money to the young church. By Acts 9:27, Barnabas was trusted, faithful, and truthful enough to introduce Saul and vouch for him to James and the Jerusalem church. “But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how at Damascus he had preached boldly in the name of Jesus.”
Next, in Acts 11:22, Barnabas is sent to Antioch, “And the report concerning them came to the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas as far as Antioch.” Continuing on in Acts 11:23-24, we see he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit, faith, and the ability to exhort, “who, when he was come, and had seen the grace of God, was glad; and he exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord: for he was a good man, and full of the Holy Spirit and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.”
In Acts 11:29-30, Barnabas is now with Saul, trusted to take relief money to Jerusalem. “And the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren that dwelt in Judea: which also they did, sending it to the elders by the hand of Barnabas and Saul.” With all his strengths he is now chosen with Paul as Apostle’s to the gentiles in Acts 13:2-3, “And as they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them. Then, when they had fasted and prayed and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.” His name means “son of consolation”.
The Barnabas spirit is still around today thank God, still encouraging Christians to keep on keeping on. God is not building his full-time Army, with part-time Christians.
